April 12, 2009 - 4:42PMNorma L. Landiss, 88, passed away at 5:20 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2009,at Saint Anthony's Health Center in Alton.
She was born in Alton on Jan. 17, 1921, the daughter of Albert and Viola(Olsen) Lenhardt.
She married Robert E. Landiss on July 10, 1942, in Alton. He survives.
She was a housewife and mother most of her life and she lived in theAlton area her entire life. She attended the First Presbyterian Church ofAlton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jeanne L.Sullivan of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sons and a spouse, Daniel J. andPavla Landiss of St. Louis and Mark E. Landiss of Hazelwood, Mo.; fivegrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews andcousins.
Her parents and a brother, Richard Lenhardt, preceded her in death.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the First PresbyterianChurch of Alton, with Pastor Brett Hendrickson officiating.
Memorials may be made to the church or a charity of one's choice.
