She was born to Joseph Sim and Maude Evaline (Sims) Landers March 17,1915, in Noble, Texas. She lived a full life giving herself unselfishlyto her family.
She retired from Globe Ticket Company. She was a member of the Church ofJesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Her sense of humor will be missed but not forgotten by all who loved her,especially her daughter and son-in-law Delores and John Murchison, andher grandson, Martin James Murchison, of Bellflower. She also is survivedby her nieces and nephews, Fred Wayne Landers of Fort Worth, DannyLanders, Larry Spangler, Jerry Spangler of Paris, Gary Landers and BennieLanders of Shreveport, La., Dorothy Fisher of Yantis, Texas; Nell Hullof Paradise; Brenda Dibble of Paris and Glenda Fulton of Emmett, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, July 20, 1998, at theLighthouse Family Church in Paris, with Gary Landers officiating. Herashes will be placed with her husband in Fulbright Cemetery following theservice.

Obit from McKinney, Plano Fireman, Clyde Landers, Killed Sunday - ClydeE. Landers, 24 year old Plano fireman, was electrocuted while fighting afire at a Negro's home late Sunday afternoon. Live wires fell on Mr.Landers, whose clothing was wet, as he and other firemen held the hose onthe blaze.
A native of Plano, Mr. Landers had resided there all his life and hadgraduated from Plano High School. During World War II he served with theU. S. Marines in the Pacific Theatre of Operation and was overseas abouttwo and a half years. At the time of his death he owned and operated theTexaco Service Station there. He was a member of the First ChristianChurch.
Mr. Landers is survived by his mother, Mrs. Eva Landers of Plano; fivebrothers, Clarence Landers, Chester Landers and Clifford Landers, all ofDallas, Cecil Landers of McKinney and Cletis Landers of Plano.
Funeral services wre held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the FirstBaptist Church in Plano with burial following in Plano Mutual Cemetery.The Rev. Liston Poss and the Rev. S. H. Siler officiated. Members of thePlano Fire Department acted as pallbearers. Harrington Funeral Home ofPlano was in charge of arrangements.
